About Mary

I like to say that I sell hope for a living. I believe that we can heal from our wounds and fears and become better connected to the Self we were born to be. Because of our collaborative work together, every day I see client after client bring new understandings to their own behavior, their relationships and their work.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor and have been in clinical practice since 1992.  My first career was in medical technology and I worked in hospital microbiology laboratories.. I returned to school to earn my counseling degree after experiencing the life-changing benefits and personal insight that followed my own psychotherapy.

My counseling is rooted in Internal Family Systems^SM Therapy which is a deep, respectful and client-centered model. I provide individual and couples counseling for adults and older adolescents and I assist in training therapists in the IFS model.
